Marketing is yet to set KwaMashu on track as the coolest township entertainment
destination. The first gesture towards the realization of this mission will be
through the street fashion and music event, WHAT’S THE OCASSION!
WHAT’S THE OCASSION! is the
platform for showcasing the work of township fashion designers who specializes
with streetwear fashion. Being organized by the youth of KwaMashu, there was no
better township to start with than home.
The event anticipate fun-loving,
vibrant and and outgoing youth from Inanda, Ntuzuma and KwaMashu to embrace
this occasion. The event is the first of its kind in the streets of Durban. And
it seeks to lead this trend to new heights by continuing to expose new designers
to the potential clients in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
Rumors point to two brands to
anticipate on the first installment of WHAT’S THE OCASSION! Which is Cocaine
Wear SA and StarNDARD LOQ. Designers who wish to be a part of this spectacle in
